Hi Jason If read that post correctly then Kevin seems to be talking of NFS over a NAS box . Whereas Greg is asking about NFS mounted filesystem by a AIX server . Am i right ? I do know of NFS v3.0 out there which uses tcp ofr transport instead of udp but i am not sure what greg is asking for is a supported configuration regards Hrishy --- Jason Heinrich <jheinrichdba@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Kevin Closson is a big proponent of using Oracle > with NFS.
