There are 2 formats for OEM Alerts.  Long and short.  Figure out what the email 
address format is for your pager and have it send a short format alert to that 
email address.  

I know for Verizon, you can send it to <10 digit phone number>@vtext.com and 
the message comes in as a text-message.

I could upgrade to a newer release if it works in those versions.

can the OEM send a page? Or a text message?
can the OEM call a shell script? We have a shell script that will open a ticket 
for us and send a page.

anyway to configure OEM to use that?
