This is an idle wait and is recorded for the job queue background processes,
not
the foreground user processes.

When a job queue process is between jobs this wait timer starts.  If there are
no more jobs to run this wait increases.

Subject: cause of "jobq slave wait"

Hi All,
In my 11gR2 db I see there quite a few wait events of name "jobq slave
wait" .
What causes these wait events and is there any way to avoid these events .

Thanks And Regards,
