This is what we do:
run setup.exe with the option â??ignoreSysPrereqs from the
oracle_database\10g\10_2_0_3_client_for_vista_w2008_w7\client directory
on xxxx. In the GUI, during prerequisite checking, it will fail on the
OS. Check the box next to the failed message to ignore the check.

I thought I saw a thread on windows 7 and oracle client. We can't seem
to get it loaded. It asks for vista but not windows 7. We need 64bit.
Is there a work-around?
