List - If you must install the new Oracle Security Patch on one of your
servers this weekend, be aware that opatch relinks your oracle binary. Years
ago it was considered a good practice to relink oracle when you installed
it, but some of us have gotten lazy since Oracle provides binaries already
linked today. In my case, I have 64-bit Oracle on Solaris, but my
LD_LIBRARY_PATH was pointing to some 32-bit directories. Enough said, just
hope this tip helps somebody get home faster this weekend. Also, Metalink
says the Florida support center is evacuated so don't file any TARs that
aren't severity 1.
