SCAN and multiple segments

You can create a second set of virtual IPs, start a listener and configure
listener_networks in the database to allow connection via a different
network
subnet or segment.
However, SCAN needs to be resolved via DNS so unless there is a route to the
subnet of the SCAN via the client's gateway (and also the gateway set for
the
cluster), you cannot connect via SCAN since its IPs won't have a route.
