We're doing the same thing, but using CommVault to move backups to tape. We have it so .bat calls an RMAN job and then calls CommVault job to move backup files to tape. Works well so far. Our intent is to use RMAN to backup to disk. At a later time, we will use Symantec Backupexec to copy the backup sets to tape. Anybody see a problem with doing this?
