What version of Solaris are you on? I think you need to be at least 10/08.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Hi,
We are trying to install the latest GI on a Solaris 10 box. During the
linking stages of the install it threw errors so we tried re-linking,
but that has not helped.

This is what I see in the log:

Linking OSM Discovery utility (kfod)
rm -f /oragrid/product/11.2.0/rdbms/lib/kfod
.
. (lots of libraries here)
.

ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to

ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to

As far as I can tell the hardware set-up is correct.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks
Pete
