What version of Solaris are you on? I think you need to be at least 10/08. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong Regards, Martin Martin Bach Oracle Certified Master 10g http://martincarstenbach.wordpress.com http://www.linkedin.com/in/martincarstenbach ----- Reply message ----- From: "Peter Hitchman" <pjhoraclel@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, Dec 2, 2010 10:37 Subject: Problem linking Grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.2.0 on 64bit Solaris To: "oracle-l" <oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Hi, We are trying to install the latest GI on a Solaris 10 box. During the linking stages of the install it threw errors so we tried re-linking, but that has not helped. This is what I see in the log: Linking OSM Discovery utility (kfod) rm -f /oragrid/product/11.2.0/rdbms/lib/kfod . . (lots of libraries here) . Undefined first referenced symbol in file kgfoErrorMessage /oragrid/product/11.2.0/lib//libocrb11.so ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors.
