The Oracle client will always be installed along with the Oracle
database-- the database needs the client software to function.  If you
are going to make a separate client-only install, that should be placed
into a different %ORACLE_HOME%.

Is it advisable to have ORACLE_DATABASE and ORACLE_CLIENT in same
ORACLE_HOME.SOme time back I had asked this question but I didnt get any
reply plz reply this time.I remember some problem related to this while
applying Patches.
