One more opinion.
The preparation for OCM can be more exiting when playing on new versions
than old ones (for example Grid Control 11g for the OCM 11g).
But the fact is that OCM 12c upgrade exam was long to come and full OCM 12c
exam will probably not be there before end of year (my guess but I really
don't know). If you want it this year, probably better to take the 11g one
and then the upgrade.

prefer to upgrade credentials based on how much you are passionate of it :)
