Hi, If you are using multipath, then just do a: multipath -ll <multipath name> The lun id is the 4th number at the start of the path: Lun_name_a (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) dm-22 xxxxxxx size=1.0G features='0' hwhandler='0' wp=rw `-+- policy='round-robin 0' prio=4 status=active |- 4:0:1:2 sdy 65:128 active ready running `- 3:0:1:2 sdj 8:144 active ready running In the above example the lun id is 2 And the xxxx between brackets on the first line will be your WWID. If not using multipath, you can check in /sys/block/<sd name>/device. There you can find the same info [root@yyyyyy ~]# cd /sys/block/sdj/device/ [root@yyyyyy device]# ls -alhd scsi_disk* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Nov 20 16:28 scsi_disk:3:0:1:2 -> ../../../../../../../../class/scsi_disk/3:0:1:2 Regards, Freek D'Hooge Uptime Oracle Database Administrator email: freek.dhooge@xxxxxxxxx tel +32(0)3 451 23 82 http://www.uptime.be disclaimer: www.uptime.be/disclaimer -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Shanmugam, Satheesh B Sent: dinsdag 20 november 2012 16:16 To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: LUN ID We have created asm disk using asmlib and assigned to the diskgroups.
