EM 12c Install Problems

Has anyone successfully installed EM 12c in RedHat Linux? I've tried twice and
it aborts about 20% in. The Xwindow goes away and the last thing displayed in
the window that runInstaller was initiated from is "Control should never come
here".
The repository database resides on the same server as the installation I'm
trying to do.
The particulars are:
EM 12.1.0.1
Oracle 11.2.0.2
RedHat Linux 2.6.18-274.12.1.el5 64-bit
I also know that I'm not running out of disk space.
