Drop view takes long time => how/where to find why ?

Hi All ,
on 8.1.6 :
we drop 600 views and it takes 5 ~ 10 mins usually .
today, inspite of no changes being done , the same job takes about 1 hour.
i don't know what makes it to prolong.
How and where can i find , why it takes so long ?
