Yep, create a new database with db_block_size in 8k and export/import.

Also, I'd suggest 10.2.0.4 on SunOS 5.10 or RHEL4u6, but I think that's
not what you asked.

I am afraid export and import is your only choice

Hi all,

I am running Oracle 8.1.7.4. on Win2000 Adv Server.

The parameter db_block_size is set to 4K. I'd like to change it to 8K.

What are my options?
