Hello,

from my understanding, EBS only supports physical standby, not logical.

Well, theoretically it would support logical standby, but from what Oracle 
told us at a DG workshop, it is simply not realistic running logical 
standby with EBS and nobody is doing it.

    What do you mean by "Active Dataguard"? Physical standby or Logical 
Standby?
