is calling for Abstract Submissions for the  Scientific Session.

Scientific Session topics can shape and influence future directions in
the field of ophthalmic imaging. Are you wondering if your idea merits
sharing?

Some of the topics presented in this forum range from discussion of
new clinical findings, reporting on technical improvements, offering a
new perspective on an old practice, or validating a common procedure.

Past topics included:

        •       a case series explaining the cause and resolution of Valsalva
Retinopathy by John C. Peterson Univ. of Wisconsin Eye Clinic.

        •       Digital image analytics topics: Assessing detection of Just
Noticeable Differences between TIFF and JPEG compressed images
presented by D Thayer, L Hubbard, Fundus Photo Reading Centre

        •       Imaging Technique topics: A Scanning Technique Using the Zeiss
Cirrus SD OCT for Imaging Beyond the Fovea Presented by James Soque
CRA, COA; Pamela A Weber, MD Island Retina

        •       Software analysis: Making Round Eyes Flat; Comparing the Output 
of
Montage Applications.  A study to evaluate the outcomes of a series of
automontage programs using the same set of test images with the
various automontage applications including programs bundled within
ophthalmic camera systems, Adobe Photoshop, and a downloadable iPhone
stitching application for hobbyists and photographers.   Presented by
Leslie D. MacKeen, CRA and was awarded the DON WONG Award 2010.
