Rule of thumb (My thumb). White spots are on the front lens ( Patient lens), dark spots out of focus are in the
middle focus lenses and or CCD chip, in focus dark spots are on the field lens.

Any reason why the Allen dot on our fundus camera should suddenly and seemingly spontaneously degrade?  Large, diffuse spot now in our images, MOSTLY high myopes, but not always.  See attached images.
