The Bible would be the”Ultrasound of the Eye And Orbit” by Ronald Green, MD and
Sandra Frazier, Bryne. My bible today. Read that book carefully and that,
coupled with your clinical experience, is everything and more that you need to
know. Having said that,I believe that book is out of print. Find a copy while
you can- you won’t be sorry.

For pure ophthalmic physics ( and you won’t be asked these questions but it was
very helpful to me to understand what is happening in the probe, amplifier and
receiver) find a copy of Ultrasonography of the Eye and Orbit by D. Jackson
Coleman. Printed in 1934!! But reprinted in 1977. ISBN 0-8121-0498-8.

Pat Saine at Blue Plate Books has often been a great resource to me in finding
out of print books.

First off - a huge congrats to you Denise. Also, thank you for wanting to share
your experience with those of us interested in this endeavor. It takes great
humility and a good deal of character to do that. Thank you! I am very
interested in pursuing this course. What book(s) would you recommend? What
counsel would you offer? Any advice would be appreciated. Again, congrats! Any
more titles and you'll need to use another line:-)

Just passed my CDOS exams. Yippee, glad that is behind me

Anyone want some counsel, while it is fresh in my mind, if you are thinking
about taking this test.
