I had thought of the same thing for the iPhone. I just finished taking a
class at the university on iPhone development. I hope they succeed. Any
screen that has multi-touch capability should work. It would be a very neat
thing on the iPad, or some of the Android tablets.

Hi Dad, I came across this article on one of the tech blogs I follow,
thought you'd find it interesting. An engineer at New Mexico State
University created a touchscreen braille writer through a research project
at Stanford University. Looks like the application was designed an on
Android device and I can't tell if it's even available on the market yet.
The article doesn't mention iPads, oddly enough.
