Richard does excellent work; he fixed my Optacon, and got it right up to top 
condition.  Whoever had it before me did not take good care of it.  I did 
not get it new; I never had a new Optacon, and anyway, as you know, it's one 
good thing that is no longer being made.  It is a shame, though.  I don't 
know how long someone will be around to fix it; I wonder about that, as he 
is one of the few I hear about who still repairs them.  Good luck and hope 
you Optacon will be working again as soon as possible.
