Growth is a inappropriate term here. Yes, there is some expected growth this year. But this is actually just trying to get back to where the industry was before the economic downturn. NO industry pundit is predicting that the broadcast industry will EVER get back to the levels of sales that existed in 2006.

What the article I posted does correctly conclude is that advertiser will continue to pay a premium for eyeballs delivered by broadcasters, even as the audience continues to shrink. Just another part of the same old story of an industry maximizing profits as it spirals into irrelevance.

But this has been going on for more than a decade...
