"Desperate Wives" on ABC sounds interesting. Somewhat dark I hear, even the
pilot.

My father-in-law ran the international terminal of LAX for a few years.
He has quite a few interesting stories, but methinks nothing remotely
connected to this series, and the type that you would think would fit
more into some off-the-wall independant film.

I'm sure they did good at making a lot of BS up and turning the
terminals into the wild west. I can't say I'm even slightly curious to
turn in and catch even part of the pilot episode for these shows. EP1
Plotline - baggage screening (or fill in some other airport task). Woo.
Sigh.

I think with all the reality shows the networks have forgotten how to
tell a real story, or even try.

At this rate we will start seeing shows about drive-thru fast-food
joints in no time. Or how about Big Brother 666 'protected by the
broadcast flag', ...anyone?

Cheers
