[opendtv] ATSC STBs

Here's a e-mail I just received from someone at the Tech Retreat:

"BTW, you mentioned in your year in review yesterday that LG hadn't 
released a 5th-generation ATSC set-top receiver yet.

"According to what LG execs have told me for over a year, there are no 
plans to release such a product. The 5th-gen circuitry is intended for 
integrated HDTVs only. In fact, LG has phased out pretty much all of 
their stand-alone ATSC set-top boxes. What's left on the market is being 
closed out. Only Samsung has told me they plan to continue with ATSC 
set-tops."
