Dear oLAers :) I just got off the phone with the AAPPL Coordinator and have
some updates:
1. We do NOT have to rate the assessments!
2. We CAN get individual results for our students!
3. She is going to send me the paperwork, and we will meet April 5 to select
dates (hopefully the end of April/beginning of May) and give her numbers, and
arrange logistics. Arnold will hopefully be able to join us as well for a quick
tutorial on the AAPPL.
4. I will remind y'all, but you will need to bring your rosters if you would
like personalized results back.
5. The full test, with all three modes, takes two hours per student. We will
arrange a testing schedule, technology & locations.
5. **We are still waiting to see if we can use the results, but either way, at
least we will get to see where our students are at!!
This is great news!! I will be sending out a more specific email to those
teachers who have already expressed interest in being involved. If you would
still like to, let me know!
