It's been our strongest flow of shorebirds this season in Bandon despite 
temperatures hitting 90 and an east wind as well.

Oops should have read your post more closely. Northwest winds seem to produce 
the best inshore shorebird flights on the north coast. I'm surprised that you 
are seeing much with east winds. Phil Pickering has had some good land bird 
days at Cascade Head after overnight easterlies.
