Hello birders,
just saw my first rufous hummingbird (a gleaming male) out here off Lorane
Hwy SW of Eugene.
In the gardening world, everyone keeps mentioning what an early year this
is, but looking at my photo record, I see that my daffodils are blooming a
bit later than other years. And this Rufous is later in arriving than the
first I saw last year...
Funny how the planet spins,
