Thanks to directions from John Notis we visited Ash St. in Dayton and found
the MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE coming to a feeder in a front yard. This is a
first-ever sighting for me in the Willamette Valley!

Today while helping my mom in her yard in Dayton, a raspy call drew my
attention to a nearby shrub. A MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE sat and called for
several minutes. This is my second errant MOCH of the winter, having
hosted one at my own feeder in Portland for a few weeks early in Dec. For
a small fee, I'll come visit *your* yard! :)
