Laura~ I took a photo of the two SNOWY PLOVERS on the beach at the south spit of Sand Lake. Both birds are juvenile birds. They were roosting and I did not care to disturb them to see leg bands. There were also 17 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, 40 WESTERN SANDPIPERS & 45 LEAST SANDPIPERS on the beach. This was a long walk on the beach, almost 2 miles one way for anyone trying to see these birds. Good birding,Russ Namitz
