I walked the dike road yesterday. It was very dead passerine-wise, a couple Golden-Crowned, Fox, and Song Sparrows, and a flock of mixed Chestnut-Backed and Black-Capped Chickadees. There was a flock of wigeon at the edge of optics range in the bay, and some Western Grebes feeding closer in, along with a few Greater Scaup. The weather was starting to turn ugly as I left at about 10:30.
