This morning on Coxcomb Hill - 4/30/2014 Temperatures were in the low 60's with moderate east winds today on Coxcomb Hill. I started 15 minute interval stationary counts at the lower meadow from 8:00 to 9:15. There was a good pulse of warblers in the first two intervals which trailed off to almost nothing by the end of the counts. I'll start earlier tomorrow. The majority of warblers seen continue to be ORANGE-CROWNED and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS. The most interesting species seen was a single TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE which in the 08:45 interval. -- Mike Patterson Astoria, OR Some assembly required http://www.surfbirds.com/community-blogs/northcoastdiaries/?p=1888 OBOL archives: www.freelists.org/archive/obol Manage your account or unsubscribe: //www.freelists.org/list/obol Contact moderators: obol-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
