[obol] Swifts in Silverton Last Night...

Palace Theater in Silverton had 330 Vaux's Swifts last night. Some locals said
they had thousands a few days ago. The Mt Angel chimneys have been a total wash
this fall for swift movement southbound so this is where they must have
gone...This chimney was the BIG one back in early 2000's but not used for years
so I simply ignored it as a viable spot this fall. This is late in the swift
migration but we have always been late in this part of the Willamette Valley -
as compared to the big roosts at Chapman and Agate Hall.( Makes me wonder if
there is a subset population that migrates later as local movement seems
consistently weeks after the main groups.)
