Jetty Road and Heceta beach. The "big push" of shorebirds hasn't quite happened here yet but it is picking up. Of note were the large number of CASPIAN TERNS (well over 150) in a half hour. A large flock of BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS (30) were on the low tide river island. Also seen were Short-billed Dowitchers, Dunlin, Sanderling, Semipalmated Plovers, Western and Least Sandpeeps, and a solo Whimbrel. regards from 78 degree Heceta Beach, Diane Pettey/Mike McDermet OBOL archives: www.freelists.org/archive/obol Manage your account or unsubscribe: //www.freelists.org/list/obol Contact moderators: obol-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx OBOL archives: www.freelists.org/archive/obol Manage your account or unsubscribe: //www.freelists.org/list/obol Contact moderators: obol-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
