At Merlin mill pond today (04-03-14) were some nice finds. A EURASIAN (COMMON)
TEAL. F.O.Y. BARN SWALLOW and 2 CINNAMON TEAL (pair). And a bright-colored
male RUDDY DUCK.
Info on Eurasian Teal: No white band between breast and sides. Broad, white
horizontal stripe above the horizontal black stripe between upper side and
back. More contrasting markings than American Green-winged Teal.
