This weekend it was Swainson's Thrushes calling in flight after sunset over Hillsboro and last night it was Greater White-fronted Geese. Today, about 2 miles south of Jackson Bottom Wetlands and near the intersection of Highway 219 and Burkhalter Rd there were 250 GWF geese in a pond on the north side of Burkhalter. Flocks of the same have been seen and heard going over the bottom off and on today. 3 Long-billed Dowitchers joined the shorebird suite mentioned in yesterday's post.
