[obol] Fern Ridge- Lane County

I birded Royal to the platform with Jim Hardman late this afternoon.  Almost 
immediately we had 6-8 Tree Swallows fly over the the foot path heading north. 
At the platform we saw one white goose that I ultimately decided was a Ross/ 
Snow hybrid but would like to see what others think.  I attached photos to my 
eBird report.  The bird had no grin patch but did not have the straight edge to 
the bill where if connects to the face.  It appeared a bit larger than a 
cackling goose but much smaller than the Canada geese.

Other ducks included Pintail, Ruddy, Ringed neck, Canvasback and Mallard.

We also saw an American bittern, and a Short Eared Owl.

We ended with an amazing sunset!
