For those interested in raptors and/or genetic variation and morphology of bird subspecies, Dr. Clayton White will be speaking on Peregrine Falcons and the 19 subspecies found around the world. He'll be presenting in Bend and Corvallis at the end of the month. See below for details. *Peregrine Falcons of the World* Dr. Clayton White is a renowned raptor biologist, author, and the world's leading authority of peregrine falcon subspecies. He has studied the peregrine from Australia to the Aleutian Islands. He will discuss the unique natural history traits, genetic variation and morphology of peregrines worldwide, and what it means to our understanding of adaptation in the animal world.
