For those interested in raptors and/or genetic variation and morphology of
bird subspecies, Dr. Clayton White will be speaking on Peregrine Falcons
and the 19 subspecies found around the world. He'll be presenting in Bend
and Corvallis at the end of the month. See below for details.

 *Peregrine Falcons of the World*

Dr. Clayton White is a renowned raptor biologist, author, and the world's
leading authority of peregrine falcon subspecies. He has studied the
peregrine from Australia to the Aleutian Islands. He will discuss
the unique natural history traits, genetic variation and morphology of
peregrines worldwide, and what it means to our understanding of adaptation
in the animal world. Dr. White will be signing copies of his two
books, *Peregrine
Quest* and *Peregrine Falcons of the World*, after each event.
