Just off phone with Terry Wahl, here is an update from family ranch near
Cape Blanco, Curry:
Last week-SE Owl (have overwintered but could just be migrant, we’ll see)
and his third Say’s Phoebe this fall.
Yesterday- 2 or 3 Palm Warblers.
In the past week- 3 or 4 Lapland Longspurs. He said the ranch is crawling
with pipits now and he usually hears them with pipits.
Three female BW Teal at the pond near the barn, a tough bird in Curry.
No Tropical Kingbirds yet- any day now though.
