Terry Wahl reports a PALM WARBLER on 10/4 and a TROPICAL KINGBIRD today on the family ranch near Cape Blanco. Today at AZ BEACH sadly no Mag Warbler materialized. SCRUB-JAY 1- Yellow Warbler 2- Townsend's Warblers many Yellow-rumped Warblers (two yesterday) 1- yellowthroat many RC Kinglets 1- SWAMP SPARROW (calling and up for extended periods early) many WC and Fox Sparrows Cedar Waxwings Pine Siskins Red Crossbills Band-tailed Pigeons a large goldfinch flock with at least 6 Lessers several Black Phoebes including on the beach and a meadowlark! I am probably missing a few species... Fun spot for sure. We need to make sure Alan C. visits more often and shadow him : ) Merry migration! Tim R Coos Bay
