Hi,
Chuck Philo has been seeing Black Phoebes in the Toledo and Hidden
Valley areas in recent months. Hidden Valley is between Toledo and
Newport and is aptly named as access to it is on an easy-to-miss
narrow gravel road off north Yaquina Bay Road (see
http://goo.gl/maps/t30b7).
Today (April 13), Chuck reports that a pair of Black Phoebes has
nearly completed a nest in the west section of Hidden Valley, in the
general area where they were found during Christmas Bird Counts in
2012 & 2013.
