I spent the morning at Svensen Island and Brownsmead checking out
the shorebirds activity attached to the monster tides this week
While there I note this OSPREY nest which some may find amusing.

As for shorebirds, here are the numbers:

Black-bellied Plover - 119
Killdeer - 2
Greater Yellowlegs - 58
Dunlin - 154
Least Sandpiper - 6
Long-billed Dowitcher - 19

Also a CHIPPING SPARROW along Jackson Rd (uncommon annual migrant)
