The record was published, I think in Condor. That would tell where the specimen
went. It's possible that our memories were faulty.
Condor is available online in full text via the SORA database web site. I'm not
home just now but it would only take a few minutes to find the published note,
recalling that it would say Louisiana Heron.

There are a few specimens of rare warblers in the museum, but I don't think
that there are any specimens of any other review species on display in the
museum. I suspect that the specimen wasn't preserved. It would be nice to
find the specimen if it was preserved. Perhaps it was sent to some other
museum such as the Burke Museum.
