Hello everyone-
The DHS Office of Policy has asked that we distribute information about
the upcoming Quadrennial Homeland Security Review. The second National
Dialogue begins on August 31st and will continue through September 6th.
This dialogue will be asking you to prioritize and comment on proposed
homeland security objectives and to discuss strategic outcomes with DHS
and dialogue participants. You will also be able to comment directly on
other participants' thoughts and ideas. The second National Dialogue
will focus on these six study areas:
o Counterterrorism and Domestic Security Management
o Securing Our Borders
o Smart and Tough Enforcement of Immigration Laws
o Preparing for, Responding to, and Recovering from Disasters
o Homeland Security National Risk Assessment
o Homeland Security Planning and Capabilities

DHS is also asking for your support in helping to spread the word about
the National Dialogue through the following:
(1) Forward the attached email blurb and fact sheet to stakeholders
using list serves
(2) Post information and links to the Dialogue site on websites
(3) Publish information in journals/publications
(4) Encourage active participation from associations / groups (i.e.
completing ratings and leaving comments)
