We also have to go through a County Counsel review of T&Cs; however, we do not
have to go to the Board. We have an Acquisition of IT Solutions Policy stating
that IT Acquisition approval is delegated to the County Administrator who
delegated authority to ITS. If you want to see the Policy and Procedure let me
know.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [oagitm] SaaS subscription approval
All,
How does your entity handle agreeing to SaaS Terms of Use? Especially for
low-dollar, low-risk things with non-negotiable click-thru agreements like a
Surveymonkey subscription. In most cases, our administration considers these
"contracts" and we have to print out the Terms of Use on paper, run them
through legal counsel, and get the Board of Commissioners to approve a Board
Order at a public hearing before we can click 'agree'. There's got to be a
better way...
Thanks in advance,
Mark Decker
