Joe, Our District Attorney Office does not have their own IT staff. Our Information Technology Services divsion provides system support for all of Washington County. Our DA Office has one position on their staff which is for a technically skilled person who serves as their resident expert on their Case Management System and assists them with building Word templates, building simple reports, and trouble shooting issues before being escalated to ITS for more support. That position also serves as the liasion with ITS for communications regarding technology and applications. I hope this helps, Robert G. For those who got a call from our local newspaper, thanks for fielding those questions. I am forwarding a question from one of our Commissioners. He would like to know if your District Attorney offices have their own IT resources? I guess the delineation is if the DA has exclusive control over the access to their data. If IT hosts the DA case management application or file storage or email then the answer would be "no". A simple yes or no will do. Thanks! Joe Sadony IT Director, Deschutes County 14 NW Kearney Av.
