Maybe you could try to remove appdata/roaming/nvda/appmmodules/emoticons or
something like that and reinstall the last add-on’s version.

For those who don't know from the last time I brought this up, the error
is a Windows one and says some python dll could not be found. This only
happens when I mess around with the emoticons addon. I don't know if it
does this with all addons or what. I'm very reluctant to try. There are
several addons I don't want to lose (Protalker is one and I know it's
not official but I need it for reading Japanese with NVDA, and I have
some other synths as well that I don't know if they're compattible with
current versions of NVDA so I don't want to uninstall them for fear of
not being able to get them back).
Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? I'd really like to
know and I'd like a way to fix it if possible so I don't lose the addons
I have that I don't want to lose. Right now my only other option seems
to be a clean re-install and that would cost me all my current addons...
