Thanks Jamie. I have seen the ticket you mention and it sounds good, though then we need to change get.php. Knowing it, there is no problem, I updated a same version of Emoticons add-on and didn't change get.php, but your solution is OK.

It still does for the root directory. I didn't think I needed to do this
for any other files
