In the old 32 bit version of Goldwave, at least, the issue in the add on
that means that some things like file length won't read is rather annoying.
One assumes this has to be because when you action that option, the data
returned is not consistant with what is needed. This means, I assume that
something like positon or something else changes when the current loaded
sample window updates due to editing etc. is there no way that Windows has
of telling when this is happening and updating the info behind the scens so
to speak so you do not have to switch away and back or whatever to get the
field to read correctly?
Or would this just slow down goldwave?
