winners go to the national level... Efamily member Andrea Arceneaux and her 
team have chaired this event for over 20 years! I have attended some of the 
sessions, and the guest speakers at each meeting and the networking with 
Talented kids in the Houston area really worthwhile... students also can win 
laptops, trips, and participate in unique networking and learning 
opportunities... this OLYMPICS is SCIENTIFIC, TECHNOLOGICAL, ENTREPRENEURIAL as 
well as the ARTS - writing, instruments, dance... see more details below and 
pass the word!

The second meeting of the ACT-SO year is scheduled for Friday, January 25th 
from 6:45 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the NAACP Branch Office, 2002 Wheeler Avenue. 
 See the attached flyer announcing the guest speakers.  Also share the flyer 
and the information about the meeting with high school students grades 9th 
through 12th.  Competition dates are: April 20th for all categories with the 
exception of Culinary which is scheduled for April 27th.

Be advised that the 2013 application is available on our web site as well as 
the information regarding the competition categories.  The web site is

the web site periodically for any updates.
