Are you or a family member headed off to college in 2014? Well, your credit 
union and the credit union foundation of MD & DC is pleased to announce a 
college scholarship opportunity that may make it easier for you to meet your 
tuition costs. College bound members are eligible to apply for one of ten 
$1,000.00 essay-based scholarships and one $1,000.00 video based scholarship.

Deadlines for applications is March 31, 2014. Awards will be made in May 2014.

This year's essay/photo and video topic is:  What can you do for yourself to 
improve your financial literacy?

Any member of a Maryland or DC based credit union who is entering their 
freshman through senior year of college may apply. Complete rules, a list of 
the participating credit unions, and the application are shown at
