[NTA] Deadline Approaching: "Grad School 101" (a free event for STEM undergrad/masters students)

Good afternoon,

The deadline is approaching for Grad School 101, a joint effort between five
(5) universities to provide information to STEM undergraduate and masters
students considering a PhD program of study. Grad School 101 will
familiarize STEM undergraduate/masters students with the graduate school
application process and explain what graduate student life is like at the
University of Virginia and Virginia Tech. STEM students from the following
five participating schools are encouraged to attend:

 

.         Virginia State University

.         Hampton University

.         Norfolk State University

.         University of Virginia

.         Virginia Tech

 

Grad School 101 will take place on November 8, 2014 at the Commonwealth
Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM) in Disputanta, VA. The program is
free and each institution will provide transportation to and from the event.

Registration Deadline: Friday, October 31, 2014

 

Please communicate this to students you know who may have an interest. A
minimum of 20 students is needed hold the event, so register today !!!
